This Mills Fitchet Durban office is a branch of the Midlands Office and is based in Westville, Durban.

Expertise

Extensive experience in Property Valuations and Municipal Valuations. In this regard, our services include:-

  • Valuation of all property types for finance purposes.

  • Compilation of General Valuation Rolls and the maintenance thereof.

  • Valuation of servitudes for expropriation purposes.

Other Services

Apart from Open Market Valuations, this office also provides Insurance Valuations and the preparation of Asset Registers and related valuations.

Renier Grobler


B.Com, NDPV, MSAIV

Renier completed a B.com through the North West University and then started his valuation career with Mills Fitchet Natal in 2008. Renier qualified as a Professional Valuer in 2013, and currently manages the Durban office.

Renier has over 10 years full time experience in property valuations including:

  • Residential
  • Commercial (office and retail)
  • Industrial
  • Agricultural
  • Municipal
  • Blocks of flats
  • Expropriation
  • Township development land
  • Rental determination

Renier has also managed a Land Acquisition Project for the Manco Aurecon JV on behalf of the South African National Roads Agency (SANRAL). This involved valuations and negotiations on land to be acquired for the widening of the R61 road reserve.

Renier was involved in the valuation of various government and private owned properties around the old Durban Airport site for the construction of the new Dig-Out Port.
